Installation work on board ship is a demanding task, which requires many factors to be taken into account: coordinating the different contractors, tight schedules, logistical challenges and compliance with health and safety regulations.
KAEFER has a great deal of experience in completing complex assignments. The precise scope is defined individually with each shipyard. We can carry out individual phases or take care of the entire outfitting for a given area. Extensive turnkey contracts begin with decks of unfinished steel and end when the completed sections are handed over to the owner ready for use. These sections include, for example, floors, walls, ceilings and fittings as well as insulation, HVAC, wiring and plumbing.
Project management is responsible for ensuring that the time schedule, health and safety standards, budgets and quality are adhered to.
